About Journal Indexes

Journal Indexes is a free, no-signup lookup of where an academic journal is indexed — 51,576 journal records across Scopus, Web of Science, ABDC, FT50, UT Dallas 24, DOAJ and ONOS, side by side on one page per journal. It is a Yuvijen project, built by two educators for researchers deciding where to publish.

Where the data comes from

Every field is taken from the index's own published list and refreshed from those official sources when they release updates:

  • Scopus — source status, coverage and CiteScore subject quartiles
  • Web of Science — SCIE, SSCI, AHCI and ESCI collections
  • ABDC — Journal Quality List ratings (A*, A, B, C)
  • FT50 — the Financial Times research list
  • UT Dallas 24 — the journals tracked by the UTD research rankings
  • DOAJ — open-access listing, article charges, licence and peer review
  • ONOS — India's One Nation One Subscription — APC-covered and subscribed titles

Current data build (2026-06-09): ABDC 2025 · Scopus Sources Jul. 2026 · Scopus CiteScore 2025 · WoS SCIE/SSCI/AHCI/ESCI · FT50 · UT Dallas 24 · DOAJ (live). DOAJ snapshot 2026-06-08, re-checked live on each journal page. ONOS APC list as of 2026-07-10 (426 journals). APC amounts in rupees are estimates at ECB reference rates.

A lookup aid, not an official index

Indexes add, drop and re-rate journals between releases, and any copy can lag the source. Always confirm a journal's current status with the official index — and article charges with the publisher — before you submit.
