Frequently asked questions

How do I check which of an author’s articles are Scopus indexed?

Enter the author’s ORCID iD, Scopus Author ID or name. The page lists the publications on the author’s public ORCID record and shows, for each one, whether its journal is in Scopus (with its quartile), Web of Science, ABDC, ABS / AJG, DOAJ, FT50 or UT Dallas 24.

The author has no ORCID record. What can I do?

Use the Google Scholar profile option under the search box. Open the author’s Google Scholar profile, copy the page text and paste it. The journals in the profile are matched in the same way.

Why is a publication shown as not indexed?

Either its journal is on none of the eight lists this site covers, or the publication is not a journal article (a book chapter, conference paper or preprint). Journals are matched by ISSN first, so a different spelling of the journal name does not matter.

Where does the publication list come from?

From the author’s public ORCID record. Journal ISSNs come from that record, or from Crossref by DOI. Publications the author has not added to ORCID do not appear.
